We Have Entered the Days of Ananias and Sapphira

Fear of the Lord and Holiness of God fell by the wayside long ago. But it’s coming back to the church, in fact it’s right at the door. We’re in the decade of the MOUTH (PEY)–2020 to 2030 and the mouth is speaking. 2024 or 5784 was prophetically the year of the open door. It was the “Door of Opportunities” and we had to close one to enter the new one. 2025 or 5785 is the year of the breath of God. It’s Holy Spirit speaking through man. He’s breathing fresh life into the body of believers. And blowing fresh wind into their sails.

Things Holy Spirit Revealed

The holiness of God is vital. His bride cannot function properly in a hypocritical state. Ananias and Sapphira are examples of this behavior. They said one thing and did another. Although they agreed to cover up the truth. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. (Acts 4:34-35)

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession.  2  And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.  3  But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?  4  While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.” 5  Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.  6  And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. 7  Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.  8  And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?” She said, “Yes, for so much.” 9  Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”  10  Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.  11  So great fear came upon all the
church and upon all who heard these things. (Acts 5:1-11)

Ananias & Sapphira agreed, and they made an unholy alliance against Holy Spirit. They thought they were hiding it from the apostles, but they sinned against God. Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive! The deception was conceived in their heart. This quote is from Sir Walter Scott’s 1808 poem Marmion, it is often mistakenly attributed to Shakespeare. It’s a common saying that reflects the idea that when people start to lie or deceive, they often create a complex and difficult situation for themselves.

The Lord continued,

5
Now here’s what I’m saying, I’m exposing all things AND no rock will be left unturned. These are the days when God lifts His fist against the abominations in the church. Man has wallowed in its filth and kept silent thinking no one will know the sin they cover by religiosity. They use My name to forsake the body and developed a false sense of holiness. These are hypocrites who twist scripture to bait the ones they can dominate with charismatic gestures instead of leading by demonstration of love, holiness and resurrection power.
My church has become a den of liars not holy priests. It’s time to separate the vile and the profane. Look at Aarons 2 sons who offered profane fire and God
killed them for their actions. (Numbers 3 and Leviticus 10) These were priests who ate with God on Mount Sinai in Exodus 24. Ananias and Sapphira lied to Holy Spirit. They conspired against Him and thought they could get away with it. The church today should tremble at the thought. However, they have lost the fear of the Lord and waver in their faith so they manipulate the Word to prosper their own pockets. Today I say no more! I’m raising My fist against the ungodly and profane.

Judgment is in the House of God!

I’ve come with the winnowing fork to separate the wheat and chaff. The axe is coming down hard in this day. (He’s going to the root of the problem starting with the foundation) People shall repent or suffer the consequence. There is no doubt I am who I say that I AM, Almighty God Jehovah. 6 I believe the body of Christ needs to take a good look in the mirror. If they don’t see the Lord looking back at them, then they need to repent and return to their first Love.
