Through two vivid dreams on Day of Atonement I believe the Lord is signifying a radical transformation and revival in the Catholic Church worldwide. Is the second “Reformation” at hand? I believe the handwriting is on the wall and its time to be read.
In the first dream I saw the Pope walking on top of the mountain but he got too close to the edge and slipped over the side. When I first looked over the edge I saw him holding on by his fingertips. Then a vine was lowered down to him. Now he had to make a decision whether or not to grab hold of it. As the Pope was looking upward he grabbed hold of the vine and began pulling himself to the top of the mountain. This historic event was being televised so the whole world was watching.
In the second dream my three young grand daughters Olivia, Ava and Sophia were with the Pope. He asked them to fetch him water from an ancient hand cranked well. He needed to have water placed on him or he’d catch fire. So the girls ran off to get it. In their absence the Pope caught fire and he was blackened. When they returned he told them to pour water on him to cool his body.
As Ava poured water on him, she said, “This is your baptism.” He said, it’s about time!” Then all three girls poured glasses of water on him. He said, “I’m cooling off and feel better now.” Olivia said, “Now you’re of the Holy Spirit.” He said, “I thought I was before.”
Baptism is the one sacrament that all Christian denominations share in common. In the Catholic Church, infants are baptized to welcome them into the Catholic faith and to free them from the original sin they were born with. The Catholic faith does not believe in water baptism so there is never repentance for the forgiveness of sins such as John the Baptist preached.
John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins [that is, requiring a change of one’s old way of thinking, turning away from sin and seeking God and His righteousness]. Mark 1:4
However they do believe in confessing their sin ritualistically to a priest who, through the church, has the authority to forgive sin. Although many scriptures clearly state that God is the forgiver of sin. Ephesians 1:7 says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” I understand the baptism of infants from original sin yet each individual is responsible for their own salvation and that alone comes through Christ. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6) and there is no other way. Baptism of repentance is necessary for all believers.
Even Jesus needed to be baptized to fulfill scripture. (Matthew 3:13-17) John the Baptist didn’t feel worthy to baptize the Son of God. Although Jesus was the sinless Lamb of God He still needed baptism to fulfill the requirement of the law. Our Lord could not start His ministry until He was baptized. Then the Holy Spirit descended on Him like a dove.
Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:13-17 NKJV)
INTERPRETATION OF THESE TWO DREAMS:
DREAM #1
I believe the Lord is saying that the Pope has a decision to make. He is being given opportunity for conversion to the Truth. He is the head of the Catholic Church worldwide, the largest denomination in the world. He has reached the top and can’t go any higher. There have been a lot of misconceptions and misunderstandings in the Catholic religion that will now come to the forefront. Opportunity for true alignment with the kingdom of God is at hand. I believe that when his eyes are opened to the Truth, his influence will transform the structure of the Catholic Church.
There needs to be a shaking in the papacy in order for this to take place. The Father loves all His children and for this reason He prunes every branch that does not bear fruit. (John 15:2) The branch cannot bear fruit of itself, it must abide in the vine. When this pruning takes place there shall be an abundance of fruit come forth. No man is above reproach.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. (John 15:1-8 NKJV)
DREAM #2
Ava means “full of grace” and I believe God is extending grace to the Pope to lead the Catholic Church into the baptism of repentance. This is an ancient well, the well of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It’s the well of salvation that’s always been available. He’s being given opportunity to make things right worldwide. Catholics love him and hang on his every word but the word needs to be God breathed and Heaven born.
I also believe the Pope being blackened represents the Catholic Church becoming part of the Bride of Christ. In Song of Solomon 1:5 the Bride is blackened or very dark.
“I am deeply tanned but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, [I am dark] like the tents of [the Bedouins of] Kedar, Like the [beautiful] curtains of Solomon. (Song of Solomon 1:5)
Olivia means “peace and one who walks with God.” The Pope will begin a new journey of peace that will eliminate flawed doctrines the church has embraced for centuries. Once he receives the baptism of repentance he will then realize his need for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Then he can walk in one accord with God. There are 1.2 billion Catholics in the world today. Can you imagine the revival worldwide when this takes place? The fact that the Pope believed he already had the Holy Spirit shows that he is deceived.
IN SUMMARY:
I believe the Pope is going to reach out and take hold of the True Vine. The Catholic Church has bore fruit in past years however it is now time for pruning so it can bear even more fruit. When this prophecy is fulfilled and he receives the baptism of fire (Matthew 3:11) he will know the holy fear of God. Then he’ll lead a “Mass of Repentance” from religious mindsets into the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And I believe there will be transformations take place in the nations as a billion souls receive a sozo salvation. It’s so much more than what they’ve been led to believe for centuries. It will be like John Wesley used to say, “Catch on fire with enthusiasm and people will come for miles to watch you burn.”
Set me as a seal upon your heart, As a seal upon your arm; For love is as strong as death, Jealousy as cruel as the grave; Its flames are flames of fire, A most vehement flame. Many waters cannot quench love, nor can the floods drown it. If a man would give for love all the wealth of his house, it would be utterly despised. (Song of Solomon 8:5-9 NKJV)
Let us be prayerful for the Pope that he will not deny the Truth and will grab hold of the True Vine. Let him lead the Catholic Church into the baptism of repentance and baptism of the Holy Spirit of Truth so that nothing will be denied them. Let the religious formalities of the past be placed under the blood of Jesus and let a new day dawn for the body of Christ as our brothers and sisters are welcomed into the sheepfold. Amen.
